The project idea took inspiration from the land where it stands: a small hill overlooking the center of Vaglio.
The building is shaped in harmony with the land, becoming an integral part. It consists of two distinct blocks: a volume completely covered in stone that appears like a stone block that rises directly from the ground and an upper volume entirely in white finished concrete resting (almost hovering) between the hill and the stone volume.
Access is tucked inside a small Zen garden that offers a feeling of intimacy just before entering the house. On the ground floor the sleeping area with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, while the living area is on the upper level.
The windows are like cuts made in the concrete volume to direct the eye to the immersive panoramic views.
