“La Lestra” is a complex project involving the demolition and reconstruction of a building included in the dense urban fabric of Montecarlo, between Avenue de Gran-Bretagne and Boulevard des Moulins.
It’s a building of great artistic value, Art Nouveau style, which was the former residence of Marcel Pagnol, a famous French writer and film director.
Thanks to a great team work involving many professionals La Lestra has found a second youth becoming a modern high-tech building.
It consists of a 6-story underground parking garage (84 parking spaces) and 8 floors above ground level, for a total surface area of 11,000 m2, of which 3,860 m2 for residential use, comprising 5 apartments to rent and 1 triplex (customer private residence); and 1,440 m2 occupied by shops and offices.
The building facade has been faithfully reproduced with the addition of a new and important decorative element: glazed balustrades with iron floral arabesques that confer a modern touch to the classic facade.
The interior design is minimalist and extremely refined and also functional at the same time, with the characteristic of ensuring maximum flexibility and customization to future customers.
Inside the triplex space arrangement is very fluid thanks to sinuosity of furniture made to design; top finishes and maximum attention to details. The apartment overlooks a large terrace with swimming pool designed like a little private oasis.
